I like the ending and I don’t care what anyone says but it IS a ZEKI ending. Yuki didn’t chose Zero because Kaname was in slumber. The fact that he IS in slumber and not dead is proof of why it’s not the reason Yuki chose Zero.  She could have waited for Kaname to wake up from his slumber, but instead she went off and had a great life with Zero. I think we can all agree that she loves Kaname, but the fact that she had a family and thousands of happy years with Zero instead of waiting for Kaname (who, again, is only in slumber and not dead) to wake up proves that she chose to be with Zero because she loves Zero too, not because she was stuck with him.

Secondly, lets all take a minute to digest that she only went back to Kaname after Zero died AND instead of finding another way to also give him the opportunity to live a happy life with Yuuki, she chose to sacrifice herself. I’m sure not everyone agrees with me when I say that she chose to die to be with Zero in the after life, but it still doesn’t change the fact that she’s dead, therefore she’s probably with Zero and that Kaname never got to live a somewhat normal life with her like Zero did.

With all that said, yes, it is an ending favorable to the ZEKI canon. Yuuki loves both guys, neither one of them is her “second choice” and she certainly didn’t end up with one of them by default.

LOL, so I was thinking that when Kaname wakes up he sees the daughter and is like “She reminds me of someone…” then he starts to like her and, GAAAHHH, KANAME, DON’T KEEP FALLING FOR YOUR DECENDENTS!    

Yume shippers, please don’t get mad at us. We all know the truth behind this ending, Hino wanted to please both ships, and of course Yuuki would end up with Kaname if she could. But please understand that we’ve been suffering with this ship much more than you, since Zero and Yuuki kept on pretending they didn’t even know each other. It’s ok for us to be a little happy, especially because Zero died happy.
Please, please. We don’t need to fight anymore.
